I am assuming here that you are new to photography and have no clue and no experience with what you are doing.

May I strongly suggest and encourage you to slow the hell down and tell whomever you will be photographing that they need to hire a pro? You are clueless and somehow think you need to create a name, logo, and slogan right out of the gate. This is not necessary. Slow down, work on actually developing your photography skills, and when you have enough experience then consider doing gigs. You are NOT ready right now.

Nothing wrong with designing or using a logo, of course. But most beginners really don't need a logo, or even a prominent copyright mark. And it is customary to pay for design services unless you can do your own. At this point it might be better and more useful to put work into your basic skill rather than into a logo. It is better to have a good grasp of the craft before trying to court clients, even for free. Good luck.
