I'm trying to upload a photo for twitter but it only accepts jpg and png and when I try to upload, my photos always say jpeg. How and what is a jpg or png different from a jpeg image...?

You can convert by using an online converter such as: http://www.online-utility.org/image_converter.jsp or you can open the image in paint and then click "SAVE AS" and choose the output file as JPG or PNG and simply save.
JPEG is mostly used format for internet because of its less size.
PNG is almost like the raw format of the image which has all the content of the image and huge size.
JPEG will reduce the image size by decreasing the clarity.

Open the image in paint, click File > Save As... and under the name of the file, you will be able to choose the format. Click either jpg or png and then save.
I'm not sure exactly what are the differences but make sure that you don't save over the original, and try both formats, because sometimes changing the format will cause the quality to decrease.

.jpeg and .jpg are the same thing. .jpg dates back to the days when file extensions had to be three characters max. Just rename your photos to the .jpg extension and they'll be fine.

There is no way to prevent all copying, because all browsers are different. There are ways of doing it for Internet Explorer, but it's generally a bad idea because you're really going to piss people off and turn them away from your site that way. If you're concerned about someone copying your work, then just don't post it on the Internet at all, plain and simple.
