Should I trust an expired but unopened, sealed box of Kodak TXP 320 Tri-X 4x5 film expired Feb. 2010?

I got a box of Kodak 4x5 film (Tri-X TXP 320) that expired February 2010, so it's about 2 years expired. However, the person who had it before had kept it in a dry container in his refrigerator the whole time.... Is this film still good?? Thanks!!!

i would not trust it for important work

No don't trust that your photos will turn out well. I know I've tried it. I think the chemicals lose something with time.

Should be fine if your friend stored it like that. Remember to let it warm up gradually to room temperature before loading it and shooting.
