We all started somewhere. Your photos are the typical beginner's work because you are just starting and have no technical skill or understanding of crafting an image. They are fine for your photo album, but now you can begin to learn things that will help you make the images your mind's eye sees.

There are lots of resources for beginning photographers, both on-line and at your local library. Get a book or two on beginning photography and start learning some photography terms and what they mean. You have to have a basic understanding of aperture, shutter speed, ISO and so forth to begin to take control of your images. Then comes the artistic stuff like POV, DOF, composition, etc etc etc which you will use to bring your pictures to life and make them interesting.

Try www.kodak.com, and go to the tutorial pages there. Also www.betterphoto.com has lots of tips and some good images to browse. some others: www.pcphotomag.com www.photographytips.com

www.nyip.com

ephotozine.com

If you google photography tips for beginners you will get enough reading material for all summer.

Put your camera manual right at the top of your reading list. Your pictures do not look like they came from a high quality camera, but don't let that stop you. You have to make the best from whatever you have, so learn how to use the settings you have. The most important thing about photography is the light, so start looking at light around you and how it changes throughout the day. Start learning about the technical and artistic stuff and continue to practice. You will see your photography improve as your skill and knowledge grow. Photography is a fun hobby, so enjoy and best wishes.

Not concentrating on the angles, aperture, etc. is not concentrating in making a real photograph.

You should take some classes or something and learn all this things, but your pictures are great beginner ones!

I hope you learn a lot of things in photography (:

I especially like the last one...very nice.

I wouldn't classify the first two as "photography." They look like pictures simply taken by yourself with the camera flipped around.

I like the nature ones especially. You might try experimenting with different effects such as black-and-white or sepia, or focus.

Good luck!

as of right now, anyone could take those.

but if you really like it, then you will get better.

just try not to take a picture of something centered, and possibly get new angles or move it off-center.
