I am trying to get into photography, and am experimenting with what kind to go into, but would really appreciate some opinions on what type is more fun to shoot, or is more on demand to look at.

I am thinking of getting into nature and landscape, or westernish. Possibly some modern and people, mostly children, but that's not what I want to focus on.

Thanks in advance.

My favorite type to do is also the one I find most challenging. I like street photography. but being unobstrusive while getting good shots of folks being themselves is an interesting process

If you're thinking of 'getting into' it, you should start with simple things like a fruitbowl, stuff inside a closet and just daily household things. If you're asipiring to be a professional photographer, you really gotta know the elements of design for a photograph (composition/corners/lighting/colors/enhancement) and lots of all that stuff. If you just wanna do it for fun, then go ahead and feel free to take snapshots of anything you want. You'll eventually learn what makes a good photograph just by experience.

Also I'd recommend learning Photoshop (which I'm an avid user of), because its unbelievably useful for photographers. Once you got your photos, you can fix any errors that may have happened in the photo, and enhance them to great extents.
