I have created a burnt orange print as well as a red one. Now I am trying to create a blue print, a green print and a purple print. I would love some help on what to set my Yellow and/or Magenta settings to to achieve these color effects. Does anyone have experience with this and would you PLEASE help me!? This is for my final in my photography class as well as some Xmas presents.
Thanks

To get a purple print you "subtract" purple, green you "subtract" green, blue you "subtract" blue, etc. So to get a purple print you are essentially adding more yellow, or taking away magenta. Same for blue and green.

Here is a good primer

Spin the dials girl, spin the dials.

The only way to really learn color printing is to put in the time. Consider the color wheel, and understand you are using subtractive printing. As noted above, to get a color, you subtract its opposite. So play with the yellow (low value on the dial) and magenta until you get blue. Cyan filters aren't usually used in color printing as they are so thick they increase the time exponentially, but hey, this is not your usual printing.

We can't give you pack values because every enlarger is a bit different, as is every emulsion batch and the the chemistry itself. It is up to you to find the answer. Rock on and have much fun!

"Need Help creating color prints from Black & White film"

For toning prints I often use supplies from Photographer's Formulary.

Blue: http://stores.photoformulary.com/-strse-191/IRON-BLUE-TONER/Detail.bok

Gold: http://stores.photoformulary.com/-strse-203/GOLD-231-TONER/Detail.bok

Red: http://stores.photoformulary.com/-strse-190/COPPER-TONER/Detail.bok

Green: http://stores.photoformulary.com/-strse-202/IRON-GREEN--fdsh--BLUE/Detail.bok

Note: some types of Gold toners can produce a wide range of color, including purple, on certain types of paper but I could not find a toner specifically for purple.
