how do you create the effect similar to the lunar eclipse?
i don't want to take a picture of the moon, but i want the whole figure to be dark and have a light outline of the figure.

ex: person side profile. have the whole face be dark but have the outline of the profile be light creating the face outline.

please does anyone have like a website or youtube tutorial? or like other pictures?

Lighting placed directly behind the subject, pointing toward the subject (the subject is between the light source and the camera). It would also probably be best if that light source behind the subject was the only light source in the room. Make sure the light source is close enough to the subject so that light doesn't sort of leak out around the subject, creating a regular silhouette... like, you know how the beam of light from a flashlight gets wider the further away from the flashlight it is? You want the subject to basically stop the light from getting further away from the source - stop it from widening too much.

It a milky flare caused by shooting into the sun with an older lens. Then the white balance, saturation, would've been changed in post, with perhaps a little bit of split toning. Its quite easy to do with an SLR, since you just use a vintage lens with either no coating or a single coating. You can't achieve the milky flare without the use of a primitive lens.

the lighting. maybe direct it slightly behind the subject.
