How do you make a collage of pictures on the computer?

Im making a photo calendar for my mother n law and want to make collages of all the grandchildren per month. I tried using the paint option but having problems sizing it. Any help would be appreciated

yuh could try walgreens they help yuh all yuh have to do is upload the pictures and put them where yuh like its also cool beacuse if yur bday is on 11/15 for example yuh can put a picture of yur self or others ive done alot nd there not that expensive either
