Windows "paint" can resize your image or if you have "Gimp" or photoshop, you can scale the image to the size you need.

In windows paint, open the photo and click "image" at the top of the window. Then click "Stretch/Skew". A dialog opens where you can enter the "percentage" of stretch. Less than 100% shrinks the photo ad more than 100% stretches the photo.

You won't get a perfectly square photo without distorting it. Go for 600 pixels wide instead of both dimensions.

So, if you have a photo that is 3264 x 2448 the "percentage" of the final photo size you want would be 18% which gives a photo of 588 x 441

hope this helps

You do that in software such as Photoshop. You would go to File - Open and navigate to your photo on your computer to bring it into Photoshop. You then simply go to Image - Size. In the dialog you can then select the size in pixels to make the photo. If the photo is rectangular, you will then have to go to Image - Canvas Size to reduce the longer side to the 600 pixel size.

If you want, just post the photo to the following site and there will be plenty of people here than can resize it for you.

Yes.

Just thought I'd answer your question without all the extraneous crap. It WAS a yes or no question.
