i take a lot of pictures of my neighbors for practice. they have a lot of fun with it.i only upload ones where you don't see their faces. i really like some of them and i want to upload them to my flickr account but i'm just a little scared. should i get permission from their parents before i upload them? please be nice and thanks :)

You don't HAVE to have their permission just to upload to your flickr account.

But as they are your neighbours then the polite thing would be to ask if you can.

Well I really don't see anything wrong with that but if it makes you feel a bit more confortable then go ahead and do it. That's great to hear thought that you had a great time doing so :)

if they're very young, you probably should. you don't want the parents being surprised with photos of their kids all over the web without their knowledge. and maybe you should put a small stamp on them, just in case.

I'd ask.

and let the parents see the pictures you're going to upload.

and don't put any names.

edit out any street numbers, too, if there are any.

if they let you take picture of them, there should be no problem, but just to be on the safe side, ask them anyway, I am sure they will let you.

No you don't need permission. If it doesn't show faces, it could be anybody.

as long as they aren't bad. like nude or in raunchy positions. they should be fine. if anything they'll just ask you to take them down.
