To open an image for editing in Photoshop:

Click File/Open.

You get a selection window where you can navigate to the image file you want to open.

Select the File name of the image you want and click OK.

The selected image should appear in your work area.

If you are following the path above and the images are not opening, check the file type of your stored images. Perhaps the images you have are not in a file type Photoshop recognizes. For example, Photoshop will not open a word processing document.

I copied an anime image from Wikipedia that was file type JPEG, and was able to open it in Photoshop 7.

Other than incorrect file type, I cannot suggest other solutions without more info on what you have.

Good Luck

photoshop content a differents layer, did u click a right layer one? if u click a blank background so it will appear blank...

anime pics in photoshop contents many layers as well, u may open ur picture first then "ctrl-A" and "ctrl-C" move to a frame of ur anime one then "ctrl-V"...u have to look at the layers in a right side coloumn, drag up on ur layer picture inserted, then if completed already, then u might "flatten the image" to make all layers flat, and may save in JPEG file

by the way, which version of photoshop u use? i use PHOTOSHOP CREATIVE SUITE 2

( have fun !! feel free to e-mail me if u still need a help)

Girl, I wish I knew! I'm having similar problems and I am fed up with people saying, "Oh, it's sooooo easy." Yeah, right.

I get the scenic tour of instructions and they don't work.

Sorry. I really want to you out, but, it's not measuring up to me, either.
