Hi! I like uploading pics to flickr and i use iPhoto for developing and processing them. Do you know how can I put somehow my name or a personal signature on the bottom of every picture so that everybody knows it is my work?
Thank you kindly for your time!

iWatermark there are a number of other candidates, some free. Go to VersionTracker.com and do a search for "watermark".

Quite simply, you don't. At least my version of iPhoto has no text feature. You will need to use another editor for adding text. iPhoto is a VERY limited, basic editor, not even in the same universe as something like Photoshop or even many of the other editors available.

You create it as a tiff or giff with transparency in any program like photoshop, theGimp, inkscape, illustartor ... Then you use any old program (see list above or ViewNX, Lightroom) to apply the "logo" tou your images ... either one by one (in the case of photoshop, theGimp ...) or in a batch (lightroom or XNView).
