I need to know how to develop ilfochrome film. As well as print the images. what chemicals should I get? what is the process like? I need the break down of the whole thing, like the dummy version. I know how to develop traditional b&w film and silver gelatin prints. how different is it from that? What chemicals do I need to get. Will a normal color enlarger work for ilfochrome film?
Thank you!

Ilfochrome is a printing process, not film processing. It's used for getting positive prints from transparencies and was formerly known as Cibachrome.

A long, long time ago Ilford made a colour transparency film called Ilfochrome. Now discontinued. I think it was E-6 process.

I always find reading the manufactures information is a good starting point.

As the david f pointed out if you are using the ilfochrome product it is a reversal paper which is designed to 'print' from a transparency.

However like B/W printing you can start from a number of different sources and project an image on to the paper, and get interesting results.

The link gives full product information.

Ilfochrome colour slide film (Discontinued in the late eighties or early nineties) was processed in Kodak Ektachrome E-6 chemicals, as the processing chemistry was similar to Kodak Ektachrome. The colour slide film, in my opinion was even superior to both Ektachrome and Fujichrome. If you can get a E-6 slide processing chemicals kit, you stll process old Ilfochrome colour slide films.

your honestly going to need a lot more info than someone will be willing to type in here, you kind of want someone to teach you an entire class.
