Unfortunately, the answer to your question is not as simple as you would like. You already have a camera that is "cheap and easy and fun" to take pictures with. I suspect that your problem is that you don't know how to use it. So getting a new camera is not going to solve your problem. If your pictures look good on the LCD and lousy when you upload them, then you might be shooting at a low jpeg resolution. Increase the resolution. Your flash problem sounds like motion blur because you have your camera set for fill flash and you're in a dark setting. Set it to auto flash. There are all sorts of things that can contribute to looking really pale. Basically, your shots are overexposed. Without seeing what settings you used, it's impossible to tell you what you've been doing wrong. Your best bet is to find a friend who is a photographer and ask him or her to take a look at your camera settings.

The answer is any camera from a major manufacturer. Go into any camera store and pick one. They're all good for your purposes. Megapixels is irrelevant. In fact, in a point and shoot camera more megapixels means poorer low light performance. Sorry, but the camera won't fix blemishes. You must do this in post processing. It's pretty easy to do.

This sounds like less of a camera problem and more a problem with whoever is taking the pictures.

If there is someone you know whose pictures you like, ask them what sort of camera they have and get that one.

Something mid-range from Casio.
