how do I become a model?

Question

I am turning 13 and my dream is to become a model or actress I have tried acting and modeling once and it was the best experience I had ever had and it was so fun. I really loved doing it.
I haven't told my parent because I am worried what they will say. I have light brown hair and blue eyes, I am slender and I am also taller then a lot of people in my grade. Many of my sisters friends and my friends have said I should go in competitions for modeling.
I really hope someone can help me achieve my dream. Please give me a website or something to help.

MODEL



You can work as a model without formal qualifications.You will probably get some training on the job although entry to this occupation may be improved if you have qualifications.



Most prospective models start by completing a course at a private modelling school. Generally, there are no educational requirements for entry into modelling courses.



Here are a few personal requirements you need:



* enjoy artistic and creative activities.

* dedictaion and patience.

* tall (not so much for TV, commercial and photographic work) with a well balanced figure.

* well-proportioned facial feautures and clear skin

* a well groomed appearance.

* able to project a confident image and out-going personality.

* good communication skills are essential in promotional work.

ACTRESS



Entry to the certificate and diploma courses usually requires year 12. Entry to degree courses (at university) usually requires completion of your QCE with English. Competition for places is strong, and an audition, practical test and interview may be required.



PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:



* able to memorise long scripts.

* out going.

* sensible.

* able to work in groups.

* determination

* good memory



I suggest you find a local theatre and find out when auditions for plays are on. Studying drama at high school will also help with confidence.

i would caution about thinking your dream is going to happen...



have a fall back plan.. get an education and have a career lined up... and do modeling and acting part time...

i think you have a character to be a beautiful model but you have to push your self harder to achieve what you always want to be in your life. believe me if you struggle your self to achieve what you want , the answer will be in your hand.but your mother and father have to approve what you want to be if they don't approve you i think you never achieve what you want to be . remember you have to always believe that what ever advise that your parents say to you it always right and don't forget god
