I need help lightening an image please!! Its a picture i took of derek jeter last night!?

I took this picture last night and it was really light in the stadium but i guess because it was dark outside it made all of my pictures dark and i really wanted this one so please help ! : (

Do you happen to use Photoshop or any similar image editing software?

Most softwares should have the option to adjust the levels. Just open your program and image, then click on whatever tabs you have on the top and find "Adjust Levels", then you'd know what to do after that..

For Photoshop, its Image > Adjustments > Levels..

I played with this for a while and didn't get anything that I'd want to show you. The original image must be about ISO 1600 and it's loaded with noise and very poor in quality. The noise only gets worse as I lighten it.



I think he's more recognizable in a DARKER image.

nothing is going to fix the picture now. What your asking is how to fix this for next time. Next time select a higher ISO or keep the shutter open longer. if its an slr camera you can try to take a better meeter reading.

Download Picasa 2. It is a free download. It is very simple to use. You can crop pictures, lighten them, and do all sorts of things with it. I use it on a regular basis because I take a lot of photography.....

put the picture in your album on photobucket. then go to edit pic and auto fix. it'll do the job. great pic. i love derek jeter too. and you have amazing seats. too bad the yanks didnt win last night tho. good luck with the pic =]
