I'm trying to make a single photo for something. What I am trying to do is take a picture of a sun, and a picture with a group of people, and combine the two so the sun shines through the people. I guess the best way to describe what I'm talking is about is... The people are semi transparent, and so is the sun, so you can see the full picture of the sun, and the full picture of the sun. Make sense? How do I do that?

This is easy to do in Gimp.

Gimp is a free program almost as powerful as photoshop.

The best way to learn how to use gimp is to search gimp tutorials on youtube.

Download gimp. Ask your question on http://gimpforums.com/

Use photoshop

One layer for each pic over the other, and change the top opacity to a lower % so the background shines through.

If you get gimp you can make the images on different layers. Make the one on top a lower opacity and it will show the bottom one through it. If you do download gimp and need more help figuring it out id be happy to help!
