Which would you recommend, printing a big poster with glossy paper w/ no laminate or matte w/ glossy laminate?

As in which would look better or more aesthetically pleasing. I want to know because I'm printing some of my photography.

- glossy paper with no laminte

OR

- matte paper with glossy laminate

which would you choose?

Why do you feel it has to be shiny? That typically looks cheap and amateurish. Print to matte and leave it alone... no "laminate".
