We have all seen it; shadows, everything is red in the photo. Then there are photos where the image is perfect! NO shadows, NO redness. What do photographers do to make such perfect photos?

I hope you are noticing all the thumbs down on the answer from "Me". That is because it is a totally idiotic answer, and typical of people today who have no knowledge of photography at all and think it is all a matter of filters and apps on a damn telephone.
PATHETIC.

To take good photos, you will need a good quality camera, also to find the right composition (like a good angle) pretty important, Focusing, and LIGHTING is very important also, if you take pictures at a dark place, it wouldn't turn out as good as in a bright place. Like taking photos in the day time is much better. Also photographers practise, by taking many photos, trying new angles and different things. So then they can stick to what style they like.
Sometimes photographers can use filters added to their photos (ONLY for like blogs or instagram). I am a photographer, I've been taking photos for like about 1 year now, I use the app called VSCOCAM and it is the best filter app for photography.
Hope I've helped you!

Good photographers take good photos by spending time and effort learning the basics of photography (exposure, lighting and composition) and then spending further time putting that knowledge into practice to gain experience.

They shoot at the right time, in the right place, with the right technique, in the right light. They do NOT use apps and filters. Those are for people who need to cover up the fact that they have no idea how to use a camera.

They learn photography and their equipment properly. Simple really, only takes a lifetime.

If you have a smartphone, you can download editing apps plus, the phone already has filters
