I want to edit photos for tumblr but I don't want to buy/download any editing programmes. Are there any free, online sites that are as good as photoshop and allow you to edit photos with advanced options?

Ehm..

My favourite photo retouching software is GIMP. A good free alternative to photoshop. Free download here http://bit.ly/1zbm8Ip

It's the best software of its kind.

Good Bye

Citrify, iPiccy, PicMonkey, Ribbet, Picadilo, Fotor, FotoFlexer or Lunapic are great all round web based and FREE editing tools. Adobe, makers of the expensive Photoshop, has a free website version in Photoshop Express. If you are a former Picnik user (Picnik closed in 2012) than Picmonkey and Ribbet will be your best choices.

If you need/want more features downloading GIMP is a great options. Still free, but you have to download the software.

There are no websites that are anywhere near as powerful as Photoshop.

If you need a free editor that is similar in capability, there is Gimp: http://www.gimp.org/

There are plenty of websites, but they only offer basic controls. Given the large size an image editor like Photoshop requires, that's all that's really possible.

There's pixlr.com or fotoflexer. They are browser based, so there's nothing to download, and have all the basic and some advanced photo editing tools. But nothing like this is going to be as good as photoshop.

Alternatively try torrentz.
