Of which contemporary photographers' works should I become aware and strive to collect?

My wife and I have begun to fairly aggressively collect modern and contemporary art, with a particular emphasis on contemporary photography. We already have our favorites and collect what we can when we can. What are some of your favorites? Please include Internet links where possible. Thanks!

My Thomas Kincaid has been a favorite for years, as time has passed, I have changed art faves and my big painting doesn't look good in my African style living room anymore. He is known as the painter of light, his paintings go for a good amount of money (but not unreachable). The paintings will be worth more later, sadly when he is not around to enjoy the glory. I live near Seattle so we have known of him back when he was not-so- famous.
