there is no way to get taller. If you're on the short side, then you pretty much have no chance at becoming a model. I think you have a misunderstanding about modeling. To be a model you don't need to take classes, those are a waste of money. You have to rely on what god gave you. It doesn't matter if you are pretty or if people tell you "you should model." Modeling is way more than that. Look up models like Lara Stone, Agnyss Dean, and Freja Beha Erichsen. Those 3 aren't that pretty, but they have 'It." A uniqueness look that sets them apart from all the other thousands going into the modeling agencies. There are petite agencies, but the odds of you getting work are slim when there are thousands of girls 5'8- 6'1 competing against you. What you need to do is study the industry. Learn about petite modeling(since you're on the short side). Learn what modeling actually is instead of what you think it is. And if you tell me you watch America's Next Top Model and you know about modeling, I will laugh in your face. ANTM has no relevance in the real fashion industry. If you want to watch an actual show about modeling, watch Australia's Next Top Model on youtube.

Kittysue, check your facts, Twiggy is probably the most famous petite model. She is only 5'6

The most famous 'short' model is Kate Moss who is 5'7" - every other model you know by name is 5'8" or taller. While there are short commercial models, you never know their name. They might work regularly but they aren't famous by any means

And if your parents don't support you, then you will have to wait until you are 18 to do anything on your own. You are not old enough to sign a contract or model release form to work or even to be photographed, so you'll just have to wait 3 years before you can do anything
