I really want to be a professional photographer. I need alot of advice!?

It's just such a broad thing to do as far as what type of photographer I want to be, I don't know where to start. I like taking sports photos and documentary type photos. I'm 20 and I want to get something started already. I live in southern California and would like to of schools for me. I've already researched some but need opinions, help, and lots of advice! Thank you.

what KIND of "professional" photographer???



most "professional" photographers are self-employed or freelance...



and the self-employed ones usually do wedding photography... and suffer with a LOT of stress...



try getting a career in something more stable, and doing photography in your spare time...

Go to Art Center College of Design. The best photo program in southern california.

Look into The Art Institute. I'm not sure if there's one in your area, but it's a really good art school.
