Ahh Vegas. How I love it so! Oh wait, I live in Vegas.

Well, you have the touristy stuff on the Strip for starters. Some of the best places are at the Venetian, MGM, New York New York, Bellagio (the fountains are AMAZING!), the Mirage (the volcano is pretty awesome), Paris, and Treasure Island.

Off the Strip you have downtown at Fremont Street where there are lot of neat things to shoot. Just south of the Strip is the famous Las Vegas sign. Often crowded but still possible to take shots since parking is available.

For less touristy things you have the option of Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas Wetlands (one of my favorites), Bonnie Springs, Boulder City, Sunset Park, and plenty of other areas.

All you have to do is look around. Vegas has a plethora of things to shoot. I have so much fun shooting in this city, I really do.

There are so many choices, don't stay attached to the touristic spots, everybody has the same pictures. My favorite places are the red rock national park, yes is within las vegas, just a short drive from downtown LV. Is beautiful and colorful, lots of desert landscape and believe it , water. Another one is the old mines on top of Blue Diamond Hill, but the entrance is over by NV 159, near Bonnie springs, located at 36*03'15.14"N & 115*24'58.27"W ( goggle it ) which by the way you need an all terrain vehicle to reach up, but the view is spectacular, you can see the whole vegas valley up to lake mead from there. Is close to the public but you can get in, and keep in mind winter is here so there's only like two weeks left before it becomes inaccessible. Another place to take great pics is the parking lot at the green valley casino in Henderson, which is part of clark county that includes Las vegas, next to each other. If you go all the way to the top you can get a close up of the city lights, from there the best view is at sunset, when you can see still the surroundings and the strip at its best. And if you have time, visit the Hoover dam, is just a short 30 minutes from vegas. Good luck with your pictures!

clubs- Rain and Ghost Bar at Palms Pure at Cesar's (get there early enough and you might catch a Pussy Cat Dolls show) Bodyenglish-Hard Rock (Start of drinking at the center bar of the casino its always full of interesting people) Dreis after hours is ok but everyone is jacked up royally Pools- Sunday afternoon go to Rehab-Hard rocks pool party. Get a cabana and don't bother getting there before two o clock. All the local strippers and clubbers hang out here Mandalay bay has a big pool and wave pool that is allot of fun. Also they have the Euro pool (topless) that is allot of fun and very chic. Palms has a very see and be seen pool but cabanas can be fun here Paris has nice cabanas with indoor rooms if you have a group with you and your not looking to meet other people, this one is a good one. Restaurants- Capital Grill at Fashion Show Mall is great steak The Palm has AWESOME steak and lobster and a very yummy carrot cake China Grill , Red Square, and Red White Blue are all at Mandalay. All are very good and different. Red Square is a Russian vodka bar with good food and a frozen bar with every Vodka imaginable House of Blues is also at Mandalay and check to see who is playing, you might catch something hot Bellagio has a few restaurants all of which are good.

There are flood overflow tunnels under the city where homeless people actually live. They have like little apartments. Of course they wash away whenever there's a hard rain.

That could be cool, but I wouldn't recommend goiing there alone. It could be very dangerous.

During the winter, outside is usually cool.

During the summer, inside is usually cool.

But it's a dry cool, still it's a dry hot!

In a casino with all the cards and colors and people. The games and machines and the chips. The patterns and arrangements could be interesting but it depends on what you are looking for.
