I have edited photos using Flickr.com.
Now when I send them to walmart.com to order prints, i get the message that my resolution is wrong and wont even let me do a 4x6 photo. How do I change the photos resolution so that the picture will be clear enough to have printed?? Thanks!

The photos displayed on Flickr are LOW resolution and highly compressed. This is done automatically for fast viewing and to save storage space. You cannot "snatch" any displayed photo off Flickr and have a print made, .... as you have found out.

If you want to edit photos and then send the files to be printed, you can't do it going through some place like Flickr. Instead, I suggest you download GIMP. It is free and will allow you to do far more than you can on Flickr. You will be working on your full size, high resolution photo so that you will still have the capability to have prints made.

You need to START with high resolution. If you "change" the resolution from low to high, you are just making up the MISSING dots and the picture will look crappy.

Start over with HIGH RES image. Sorry for the bad news. :-(

good luck.......

Take them to another establishment for printing, if the quality is still poor then you are stuck having to buy them from the photographer. It is possibly that he has dropped the quality or even watermarked the photos to prevent you from reproducing them. Most photographers own the rights to the photos they take.
