I AM SOLICITING PHOTOS FROM FRIENDS OF EVENTS THAT HAPPENED IN 1966-67, WHEN I CHECK PHOTO PROPERTIES, IT SHOWS DATE I DOWNLOADED, IE 2011. I WANT ORIGINAL DATE AND TIME PHOTO WAS TAKEN BY SOMEONE ELSE. RUNNING WINDOWS 7 PRO 64 BIT, WITH WIN PHOTO GALLERY, OFFICE PICTURE VIEWER, PICASA 3.

There was no digital photography in 66-67 therefore the only exif data will be that which was added when the image was scanned/digitised..

The only way to find out when the shot was taken is to ask the photographers.

Digital photography did not exist in the 1960's, so obviously checking the photo properties is useless (unless the person who scanned the photograph manually added the date).

You'll have to ask someone familiar with those photos for the dates (although I doubt they would remember the actual day. You'll be lucky if they can even remember the month)

Since in 1966-67 there were no digital cameras, there is no exif. There is no way to be sure.

Check the exif data.
