Pros and cons for Henry's lighting kit?

Guys, I need your advise on this lighting kit....

I found it on Henry's website....any pros and cons???

I have approximately 800 dollars which I'd like to spend on home studio lighting...any suggestions?

http://www.calumetphoto.com/ctl?query=genesis&ac.ui.pn Calumet Photographic is a nice shop to purchase gear and they garantee return policy. A shop in Los Angeles and Escondido, CA. Have a look @ the Genesis light kits very affordable and for in house use only.

Cons- They break down, onli if you dont take care of them. Remember to turn off if you are not using them.

These strobes come as a kit 200/400W. Check them out

That is *entirely* too much money, even by Canadian standards, for a kit like that. For that sort of money, those lights should be in the 3-400 watt second range at least!



I just dug around the lighting stuff the Henry's site... you are paying a 50% premium over prices in the US of A, just for the privilege of not living here.



It would still be cheaper to buy a decent kit from the US, and pay the shipping and VAT to get it delivered to you. Someplace like B&H or Adorama, both have a TON of preconfigured kits at every price point. A kit like you link to would be about $350-$400 here.
