I'm very much into photography, as a hobby and was wondering if they sold clips to keep your backdrop in place?

I've had paper rolls with a stand for quite some time now, and it gets VERY irritating when it constantly unravels at an uncontrollable speed. Leaving me to attempt to roll it all back up to the desired place. I've tried using bulldog clips, that seems to only rip the paper in the spot it's placed in, or fly right off. I've tried duct tape, and well that works (of course it does, duct tape does everything), I obviously end up ripping the crap out of my paper if I try to take it off.

I recently purchased a 10 x 20 vinyl backdrop, and when I placed it on the rod the whole thing COMPLETELY unraveled to the floor.

HELP!!

Yeah, but they are expensive.

Instead get a couple of 6" pony clamps for about $3 at your local hardware store.

There are a wide variety of paper clips for clipping many types of office materials. Amazon carries a huge supply and it's easy to search. I would look for a larger size clip for this application to spread out the forces over your surface, reducing the chance for rippage. Deploying several clips instead of a single clip would also disperse stresses.

I would jam a wedge of cardboard or wood into the gap that exists between the inner cardboard tube and the metal rod. That should stop it from turning.
