I have been an amateur Photographer for over 40 years. I got into Digital Photography around '97. First DSLR 3 years ago and now on my 5th. I take a lot of photo's, probably have 20,000 film shots and I also take a lot of Digital Photo's and work to narrow it down, over 6000 at one event this weekend, which is pretty standard (For me).

What I am wondering is "What are some good free sites that hold frequent amateur contests?". Although I do subscribe to several Pro and paid sites, competition with people who do it for a living is beyond what I do simply because of equipment and training.

I would also like to find some sites that have contests that require non edited, cleaned up photo's only. No Adobe or Majix or anything. What you shot is what you see is what you submit. That sort of thing.

DSLR photography doesn't need to be over-complicated. This online photography course has been developed for beginners - intermediate levels and will teach you how to make the best use of your DSLR camera. https://tr.im/TDsO2

Learning how to confidently use your DSLR will help you get full value out of this awesome camera you have already paid for!

This course has been developed after seeing many potential photographers give up far too soon, wasting good money they have spent on the purchase of their DSLR camera.
