Never try to print directly from Facebook; the picture will come out pixelated! Save it to your computer as a jpeg file, and change the resolution to a minimum of 72 dpi-- if you don't have Photoshop, you can use Windows Print and Fax Viewer or Paint, if it lets you.

Walgreen's is not cropping the photo due to low resolution. That has nothing to do with it. The photo is being cropped because the crop YOU have done is not anywhere close to the standard sizes of prints from Walgreen's. Major cropping is going to take place trying to make that extreme rectangle of yours match the ratio of a 4 x 6, or whatever size print you are wanting.

I am sure there probably IS some resolution problems with your photo though. When you crop, you are losing resolution, plus, as said earlier, if you are trying to get a print directly from Face Book you will have awful results because the site further reduces resolution and size.

If you want to send me your ORIGINAL UN-CROPPED photo and tell me the size print you want, (4 x 6, 5 x 7, 8 x 10, etc.), then I can crop it for you to the exact size at 300 DPI so it will print correctly through Walgreen's. I will also raise the mid levels so you can be seen better.

If you send it, be sure and do it through YOUR email so I will know where to send it back to. You cannot send photos through Yahoo Answers.

You may want to choose one from a number of HP's offerings. I had a Canon S800 but that printer died quick. I find the Photoprinter series to product good quality photos using ink jet.

I would suggest either cropping some off the bottom to make it a conventional size such as a 5x7, or you can add blank areas to each side and fill with the color of your choice.
