I took some amazing pics with my digital camera. I'd like to post them on facebook however, when I enlarge the pic I notice that my lips are so horribly chapped. Are there any tricks I could use in Adobe photoshop, paint, etc?

Thank you in advance Y/A community

In PhotoShop you can use the clone tool to select a small area of the lips that is not chapped, then paste it over a chapped area:

- Create a new blank layer over the photo layer.

- Display your file at 100% size.

- Choose the clone tool (looks like a rubber stamp).

- Go up to the brush bar and choose an appropriate size and hardness. Experiment with it -- you can always use ctrl-Z or ctrl-alt-Z to undo.

- Move your cursor to an area of the lips that looks good and is the right color. Use alt-click to select.

- Move your cursor to the area you want to fix and click. If the brush isn't very hard (opaque), you might need to click more than once to cover up the chapped parts.

- Practice a lot with the clone tool -- it's very useful.

Hello,

I edit, modify and retouch pictures and photos with GIMP. The best free alternative to photoshop. Link here http://j.mp/1sW3MJw

Give it a try.

This is a challenging question, and one that made me curious for quite a long time.
